Start Hafilat rechargeCommon questions about bus card recharge
How do I top up my Hafilat card through the website?
Open the recharge page, type your 10-digit card number, choose the amount you want to add (AED 5 minimum), and confirm the payment. You do not need to create an account. If anything is unclear, our support team responds during working hours.
How long does the bus card recharge take?
Payments submitted during working hours are processed the same working day. Late-evening and weekend top-ups are typically applied the next working morning. If you need to travel immediately, we recommend topping up in advance.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept standard debit and credit cards issued in AED. All card data is entered on a secure payment page. We never store full card numbers or CVV codes on our side.
Are there any fees or limits?
Minimum single top-up is AED 5, maximum is AED 500 per transaction. A small fixed service fee is displayed before you confirm — no hidden charges after payment.
What if the payment goes through but my balance is not updated?
Send us the card number and the payment reference through the contact form or by email. We check the queue manually and re-submit the top up if it did not reach the transit system.
Is it safe to enter card details on your site?
Card data is submitted through a payment page over an encrypted connection. We do not display, store or share full card numbers. See our privacy policy for details.
Which transit cards do you support?
At the moment we focus on Hafilat cards used across Abu Dhabi buses. Support for other transit cards will be announced on this page when available.
